Detectives investigating a number of shoplifting offences and an attempted burglary in Runcorn have charged a man in connection with the incidents.
Lewis Dutton was arrested at an address on Lavender Close, Runcorn, at around 9.45am on Wednesday 6 April.
The 29-year-old of Canon Street, Runcorn, has since been charged with attempted burglary and two counts of shoplifting.
He has also been charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order.
The attempted burglary charge relates to an incident at an address on Wisbech Close, Runcorn, on Monday 4 April.
The shoplifting charges relate to two offences at a shop on Halton Road, Runcorn, on Tuesday 5 April.
Dutton has been remanded in police custody and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 7 April.
