A man has been charged following an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs in the Palacefields area by detectives from Runcorn Proactive CID.
Nathan Bligh, 30, of Lambourne Road, Liverpool was charged with acquiring criminal property, being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin).
He appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 13 May where he was further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 10 June.
A 42-year-old woman from Runcorn was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and conspiracy to supply class A drugs (cocaine). She has since been released under investigation.
