Two men have been charged with section 18 assault following a collision outside a public house in Ellesmere Port.
Joe Cunnah, aged 23, of Southwood Road, Liverpool, and Kieran Cunnah, aged 29, of Springfields, Mickle Trafford, were arrested on Sunday 29 May following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Thornton Road.
The pair have since been charged with section 18 assault, actual bodily harm with intent.
Kieran has also been charged with two counts of criminal damage and two counts of use of threatening and abusive language.
The pair both appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 31 May where they were remanded in custody. They are next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 28 June.
