A 42-year-old man from Crewe has been handed a 10-year criminal behaviour order to curb his prolific behaviour.
Karl Manley, from Doddington Road, Crewe, appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court on 13 June to be sentenced.
At an earlier hearing Manley admitted fraud by false representation, failing to provide a sample for a drugs test while in custody and obstructing a constable in the course of their duty. He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison.
He was also handed a 10-year Criminal Behaviour Order which prevents him from entering the Grand Junction Retail Park and the Dorothy Flude Business Park.
PC Alex Barker said: “Manley is a prolific offender who has brought misery to Crewe residents and businesses over a number of years with his prolific offending.
“We hope that given his lengthy criminal behaviour order his reoffending will be stopped in its tracks.
“If Manley fails to adhere to the order, he faces going back to prison and could face up to five years.”
Anyone who encounters Manley breaching any of the above restrictions is urged to contact Cheshire Police at https://www.cheshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/soh/seen-or-heard/ or call 101, to report it.
