Detectives investigating a serious assault in Chester have charged two men.
Justin Warren, 38, of Ermine Road, Chester was charged with section 18 assault, possession of a weapon in a public place and threatening a person in a private place with a weapon.
Paul Rowlands, 52, of Grasmere Road, Chester was charged with section 18 assault and possession of a weapon in a public place.
They were both remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on 3 October.
The charges relate to an assault which took place in Norris Road, Chester on 1 September.
