Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Warrington.
At around 7am on Friday 27 October a woman was walking along Barrymore Avenue. Once on Worsley Avenue, she was knocked to the floor from behind. The suspect has then grabbed her purse from her handbag before running off. The suspect is described as white male, 5ft 9ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing dark clothing and black Nike trainers.
DS Whitfield said:
“The victim suffered what are believed to be minor injuries, though was left very shaken by her ordeal. I’d urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident, or has dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage that may help our investigation to contact us.”
