Man charged following attempted burglary in Barrow

Police investigating an attempted burglary in Barrow, Cheshire, have charged a 24-year-old man in relation to the incident.
John Casey, of Pheasant Avenue, Belfast, was arrested on Saturday 11 November.
He has since been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving with no insurance, driving without a licence, fraudulent use of a registration plate, attempted burglary of a dwelling, and theft from a motor vehicle.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 November. He was further remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 11 December.
The charges relate to an incident on Saturday 11 November, when police attempted to stop a vehicle in Barrow, Cheshire, following an attempted burglary at an address in Lampits Lane.
