Man charged following incident in Winsford

Officers in Winsford have charged a 26-year-old man with numerous offences following an incident in the town.

Lewis Price was arrested on Wednesday 22 November and was subsequently charged with two counts of assault by beating, assault on a person causing actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, two counts of criminal damage and the breaching of his restraining order.

The 26-year-old, of Great Howard Street, Liverpool, appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court today (Thursday 23 November) and has been remanded in custody.

He is next set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 21 December.

The charges follow reports of an incident at around 5.03pm on Sunday 19 November on Thomas Drive, Winsford.
