Detectives in Crewe have charged a man in relation to the attempted purchase of a firearm.
Bobby Palin, 36, of James Atkinson Way, Crewe, was arrested on Monday 6 November and has since been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm without a certificate.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 7 November.
He was further remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 5 December.
