Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a hair and beauty salon in Widnes.
At 6.45pm on Wednesday 22 November a man entered Kyasha Hair and Beauty on Widnes Road and threatened the female staff member with a knife. He demanded money before escaping with a quantity of cash.
DS Paul Munnerley said:
“Thankfully the woman was not harmed but she was left shaken by her ordeal.
“We are checking CCTV and making a number of enquiries and would urge anyone who was in the area at the time, and has any information or dashcam footage, to contact us so that we can find the person responsible.”
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1697166. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
