Two county line drug dealers jailed for supplying drugs in Warrington

Two county lines drug dealers have been jailed for their role in the supply of illegal drugs in Warrington.
Jake Cullen, 22, from Spinney View, Kirkby, and Cameron Irvine, 22, of Withers Avenue, Warrington, had earlier pleaded guilty to the offences and were sentenced on Thursday 2 November at Liverpool Crown Court for their roles in the drug supply.
The pair were sentenced to three years imprisonment respectively.
The case began following an investigation launched by Operation Apollo into the sale of illegal drugs in Warrington.
Officers were able to link the offenders to an address on Lovely Lane, Warrington.
On Wednesday 23 August, officers attended the address and spotted Cullen and Irvine in the near vicinity. A stop-and-search was conducted, resulting in their arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Upon arrest, Cullen and Irvine were found in possession suspected Class A drugs, a quantity of cash and a knife.
Warrants conducted at their home addresses uncovered further evidence of their involvement in the supply of illegal drugs - such as Class A drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Both were subsequently charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin), two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine, heroin) and possessing a knife in public.

Detective Inspector Robert Balfour said: “Cullen and Irvine thought they could establish a drug supply line into the town, yet little did they know we were hot on their trail.
“We were able to provide a catalogue of evidence against both Cullen and Irvine in order to put them before the courts which led them to plead guilty to the offences put to them.
“Illegal drugs can have a devastating impact on not only drug users, but the community around them.
“We are doing all we can to stop drug activity on our streets to make the town a safer place to live and visit while also making it extremely difficult for these gangs to operate.
