Man charged following serious assault in Runcorn

Detectives investigating a serious assault at an address in Runcorn have charged a man in relation to the incident.
Daniel Richardson, of Milton Road, Widnes, was arrested on Saturday 1 April.
The 33-year-old has since been charged with section 18 assault and threatening behaviour.
The charge relates to an incident on The Croft, Runcorn, on Saturday 1 April.
Richardson has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 2 May.
