Officers investigating the theft of cash and bank cards in Mere are appealing to trace the whereabouts of a man they are looking to speak to in relation to the incident.
Sometime between 11.30am and 1pm on Wednesday 22 February, a report was made that cash, bank cards and a driving licence were taken from a locker at a Golf and Country Club on Chester Road.
It is believed that the card was then used a number of times in the Wilmslow and Knutsford area.
Following a number of enquiries, officers would like to speak to 49-year-old Nicholas Hughes, of Binley in Coventry, and they are urging anyone with information as to his whereabouts to get in touch.
Anyone who sees Hughes or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to report it via the website, quoting IML 1485278 or call Cheshire Constabulary on 101.
Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
