Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after officers conducted three warrants in Macclesfield.
At about 5.40am on Friday 23 June, officers executed warrants at three addresses in the Upton area of Macclesfield.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at one address on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
At another address, a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Both remain in custody at this time.
Matthew Bassirat of Macclesfield Town Centre Neighbourhood Team said:
“Today’s warrants are part of our ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the Macclesfield area and hope they provide reassurance for local residents.
“The impact of drugs is well known, and we’re committed to doing all we can to ensure those responsible are held accountable.
“Information from the public is vital and I’d urge anyone with any information in relation to drug-related activity in their community to get in touch.
“Information can be reported via cheshire.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime or via 101.
“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
