Man arrested for drugs offences and money laundering following police raid in Northwich

Officers have arrested a man following a police raid at an address in Northwich.

At around 11.30am on Thursday 17 August officers from Northwich Local Policing Unit executed a warrant at an address on Marshall Lane, Greenbank.

During the raid officers discovered a quantity of cannabis and cocaine. They also seized a number of items including several watches, jewellery, three off road bikes and a quantity of cash.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs (cannabis), money laundering and possession of criminal property.

Following the warrant, Police Constable Harry Peplow, Neighbourhood Officer for Hartford and Greenbank, said:

“This warrant was carried out as part of our ongoing efforts to target those believed to be involved in drug activity and has allowed us to successfully seize a quantity of illegal drugs.

“I hope that this arrest provides some reassurance to the community that we are doing all we can to stop those believed to be involved in this behaviour.
