Detectives investigating the death of a woman in Warrington have charged a 17-year-old boy.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Tuesday 29 August and has since been charged with murder.
The charge relates to an incident which police were called to at around 9.40am on Tuesday 29 August in Phoenix Place, Warrington.
Chintzia McIntyre, 48, had been seriously assaulted and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The 17-year-old boy was remanded in custody and is now set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 17 November for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
A provisional trial date has been set for 29 January 2024.
