An address in Runcorn has been closed down by officers after reports of drugs offences and anti-social behaviour.
The closure order for the address in The Knoll was granted at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 27 September.
This comes after officers from Runcorn Local Policing Unit provided evidence of regular parties at the property, including drugs offences and excessive noise.
The occupant has since been ordered to leave the property, with all doors being boarded up for a period of three months.
Anyone who enters the address during that time will be committing a criminal offence and could be arrested.
PC Jenny Tasker said:
“I am thankful that this order has been granted and hope this will provide some reassurance to nearby residents.
“I would continue to urge anyone who has any concerns about drug-related activity or anti-social behaviour in their community to get in touch with us and we will do the rest.”
