Officers have charged a man with a number of offences following a police pursuit in Cheshire.
At around 10.40am on Friday 5 January police stopped a red Kia Ceed on the A50, Newcastle Road North, in Brereton, following a pursuit.
The driver of the car, a 38-year-old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, failing to provide a specimen, and driving without insurance.
John Inglesby, of Mintor Road, Northwood, Kirby, has since been charged with the offences, he appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 6 January, where he was remanded in custody.
He is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 5 February.
