Officers have charged two men with various offences following a police stop check in Warrington.
Shortly after 10pm on Monday 29 January, officers stopped a blue Ford Focus on Manor Road, Lymm.
Following a search of the car the driver of the vehicle, Craig Chapman, and the passenger Rafal Pinkowski, were both arrested.
Chapman, 52, of Blackcarr Road, Greater Manchester, has since been charged with going equipped to steal, driving whilst disqualified and the use of a motor vehicle without insurance.
Rafal Pinkowski, 40, of Elm Court, Coalville, has been charged with going equipped to steal and obstructing a constable in the execution of duty.
Chapman appeared at Chester Magistrates' today, Wednesday 31 January, where he was remanded in custody.
Pinkowski also appeared at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 31 January, where he was released on bail.
Both men are next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 28 February.
