Two men charged with drug offences in Widnes

Two men have been charged with drugs offences in Widnes.
At around 9.30am on Monday 15 January, officers arrested six people on Tan House Lane in Widnes on suspicion of drug offences.
Four of the men have since been released under investigation and two have been charged in connection with the incident.
Dean Benson, 58, of Lunts Heath Road, Widnes, and Chen Weijei, 28, of Birchfield Road, Liverpool, have subsequently been charged with supplying a Class B drug (cannabis).
The pair have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 17 January.
