Winsford man jailed after admitting dealing drugs in Northwich

A 34-year-old man from Winsford has been jailed after admitting to dealing cocaine in Northwich.

Kenneth Dyson, of Wheelock Drive, Winsford appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 22 January to be sentenced after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs between 26 October 2023 and 20 December 2023. He was sentenced to three years in prison.

His illegal activities came to an end following an investigation by officers from Northwich Proactive Team.

He came to their attention in November 2023 when a phone was linked to him which was advertising cocaine for sale.

Dyson was arrested on 20 December and later the same day charged and remanded in custody.

“We recognise that drugs and drug use have a detrimental effect on our communities and we will stop at nothing to rid the streets of this illegal activity.
