Two men have been charged in connection with the supply of class A and class B drugs.
On the morning of Tuesday 3 December, two men were arrested at addresses in Warrington as part of an investigation by officers from Cheshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit under Operation Venetic.
Simon Johnson, 43, of Edward Gardens, Warrington, and Michael Sherwood, 53, of Vulcan Close, Warrington, have since been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs (cocaine), conspiracy to supply class B drugs, possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis resin), and possession of criminal property.
The pair were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 5 December.
