Detectives from Northwich Proactive Policing Team have charged two people with drugs offences.
At around 10.30pm on Tuesday 6 February officers from Cheshire police stopped a white Volkswagen Tiguan on Netherton Road, Manchester.
Officers conducted a search of the car and discovered a number of items, resulting in the arrest of the two occupants of the vehicle on suspicion of drugs offences.
Following questioning, Annabelle Greco and Khalid Al-Arsan have both since been charged with two counts of intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine and MDNA) and possession of criminal property.
Greco has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (Cocaine).
The pair both appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court this morning, Thursday 8 February.
Greco, 33, of Pavilion Way, Northwich, was released on conditional bail, while Al-Arsan, 38, of Netherton Road, Manchester, was remanded in custody.
They are next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 7 March.
