Officers investigating a report of fraud in Runcorn have charged a woman in relation to the incident.
Rebecca Culley, 32, of Seneschal Court, Runcorn, was arrested on Thursday 8 February.
She has since been charged with fraud by abuse of position and theft.
She appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Friday 9 February where she was bailed until a hearing at Chester Crown Court on Friday 8 March.
The charges relate to a report of fraud which was made to police on Wednesday 16 August 2023.
