A 24-year-old man from Liverpool has been charged with drugs offences after being stopped by police in Congleton.
At 9.40pm on Tuesday 11 June police from the Roads and Crime team were on patrol in Congleton when they spotted three men acting suspiciously.
An officer left the patrol car and approached the men who ran off. The officer gave chase and detained and searched one of the men.
He was arrested and later charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin) and money laundering.
Shaun Gargan, 24, from Huyton will appear at West Cheshire Magistrates today (Wednesday 12 June).
