Officers investigating reports of drugs and modern day slavery offences have charged a man.
Kevin Ozemelam, of Bury Street, Salford, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (cocaine and MDMA), being concerned in the supply of class B drugs (ketamine and cannabis), assault by beating, and requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour.
The 28-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 4 July.
He has now been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 1 August.
The charges relate to an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs in the Chester area.
