Man charged following pub burglary in Winsford

A man who was arrested at Heathrow Airport in connection to a burglary at a pub in Winsford has now been charged.

At 11.30am on Sunday 8 September officers were made aware of a burglary at the Top House pub on Wharton Road.

The victim reported how an unknown offender had forced entry into the premises at around 1.45am that day and stolen a large quantity of cash.

Following enquiries, a 37-year-old man from Northwich was arrested at Heathrow Airport in connection to the incident.

Following questioning Terence John Adams, 37, of Normans Lane, Whitley, Northwich, has since been charged with one count of burglary other than a dwelling.

He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Friday 13 September.
