Crewe Beat Team raided a house in Crewe and discovered hundreds of plants believed to be cannabis.
The team targeted the address in Wood Street in Crewe at 8.09am on Monday 13 January where they have recovered around 90 cannabis plants. The electricity had been by-passed and Scottish power attended the location to make it safe.
A 35-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis plants.
PC Justin Taylor said:
“We removed 119 plants, believed to be cannabis, as well as growing equipment before securing the property.
“We hope this reassures you that we do listen, and we do act on information given to us by the public.”
