A man has been arrested and drugs seized following a warrant in Hartford by officers from Northwich Local Policing unit.
At around 8.30am today, Monday 3 March, officers executed a warrant at an address on Beaufort Close.
While searching the property officers recovered a quantity of class C drugs (cannabis) along with other drugs paraphilia.
A 28-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. The man remains in custody at this time where he is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Inspector Paul Heatley, of Northwich Local Policing Unit, said:
“I understand the concern that this incident is likely to cause, and I would like to thank residents in the local area for their ongoing support.
“Today’s warrant is part of our ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the Northwich area and hope it provides reassurance for local residents.
“The impact of drugs is well known, and we’re committed to doing all we can to ensure those responsible are held accountable.
