The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list identifies the nation’s most inclusive organisations. Cheshire Constabulary is ranked twelfth in the latest list, published on 28 November 2020.
Nicola Bailey, Head of People Services at Cheshire Constabulary said;
“This has recognised our continuous dedication to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. We have worked really hard to create a workforce that is representative of all the communities we serve.
“We are leading the way in the menopause area, for example, with processes and policies in place to accommodate reasonable adjustments for our officers and staff. We’re also continuously adapting our organisation to be neurodiversity and dyslexia friendly, with bespoke training for all colleagues.
“We are always striving to be an employer of choice for new and existing colleagues and creating a workplace where everyone can be their true authentic self."
The Inclusive Employers list includes UK-based organisations that promote inclusion across all protected characteristics and throughout each level of employment. You can view the full list on the Inclusive Companies website.
