The International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) helps protect children from offenders who travel overseas to abuse them through employment, volunteering and charity work. It was created by ACRO Criminal Records Office (ACRO) and The National Crime Agency (NCA).
ACRO is a national police unit that provides a range of policing-related services for the public, international law enforcement organisations, and non-police agencies.
You should check with your employer before submitting an application for an ICPC.
For more information and costs, and to apply for an ICPC, visit the ACRO Criminal Records Office website.
