Please note: if you submitted a road traffic incident report on this site, you'll be able to download a copy of your report once you've submitted it. That report is a collision report. You can then send that report to your insurance company or solicitor.
If you're a solicitor or an insurance agent, you can apply on behalf of your client for a copy of any existing collision reports the police have made or hold, or request an interview with the police officer who dealt with the road traffic collision, as long as it's been investigated.
How to apply
You can apply by email - you can print and complete our 'Request a collision report' form below. You will need the police occurrence number.
The charge for the first enquiry is currently £36.00 (April 2020 – April 2021 NPCC fees and charges).
Please see our fees and charges handbook with the full list of costs that could be charged depending on what you're asking for; but all applicable fees will be advised by the disclosure officer when dealing with your request.
Please do not make any payment before contacting Collisions Disclosures with your initial application/request for disclosure. Submit your form and we will be in touch regarding payment methods.
How long does it take?
If you’re requesting collision related disclosure including a collision report, it can take up to 12 weeks from the date we receive your payment to process your request.
