Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an assault in Northwich.
At 9.41pm on Saturday 16 August 2025, police received reports of an assault in the bar area in The Penny Black in Witton Street, Northwich.
A 28-year-old man was assaulted by a male suspect and suffered a serious facial injury during the incident.
Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident took place and officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
DC Hannah Lamborn said:
“We appreciate that it has been a number of months since this incident, but we are now in a position where we have released a CCTV image of a man we believe holds vital information in relation to what happened.
“If you recognise the man pictured, please get in touch with us by calling 101, or report information to us via our website, quoting 25000679516.
“The same goes for anyone with any further information.
“We would also appeal directly to the man pictured to contact us."
