Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a collision in Chester.
At around 6.30pm on Monday 8 September, police were called to reports of a collision on Appleyards Lane, Handbridge.
On arrival at the scene officers found there had been a collision between a green mini and an 11-year-old boy, at the junction of Prenton Place and Allington Place.
The driver of the Mini initially stopped at the scene, but no details were exchanged due to the urgency of gaining medical treatment.
Officers are urging the driver to come forward, and would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any dashcam footage.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 2172376. Information can also be reported online at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us .
