A 22-year-old man has been charged with making nuisance phone calls to the force control centre.
Bradley Whitmore, 22, was arrested at around 8.47pm on Wednesday 11 February.
Whitmore, of no fixed address, but of Crewe, has since been charged with persistently making use of a public communications network to cause annoyance/inconvenience or anxiety.
Whitmore has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 12 February.
