Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision in Chester.
At around 3.50am on Thursday 21 May, police were called to reports of a collision on Hoole Bridge, Chester.
Officers attended and found the collision involved a cyclist and a silver Toyota Yaris.
Sadly, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the Toyota fled the scene on foot shortly after the collision.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who believes they have any dashcam footage of the incidents.
Sergeant Russell Sime said: “As part of our investigation into the circumstances of this tragic incident, we’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or anyone with any dashcam or video footage which aid the investigation.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone who may have any footage of the silver Toyota prior to the collision, or footage of anyone leaving the area immediately after the incident.”
