Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Macclesfield.
Sometime between midnight and 2am on Monday 20 April a man was assaulted in the area between Samuel Street, Park Green and Park Lane.
The man was attacked by two men and was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
One of the suspects was potentially in his thirties to forties with blond hair.
Police Constable Grace Chapman said:
“The victim was concussed from the assault, but he can remember that there were plenty of people around at the time. One of them will have called an ambulance for the victim.
“I’d urge anyone who was there that night and who saw the assault take place, and whoever called the ambulance, to get in touch to help us find those responsible for this violent attack.”
