Police release CCTV images following Chester pub assault

Police have released CCTV images of a man they’d like to speak to following an assault at a pub in Chester.
At 12.10am on 14 August police were called to the Old Queen’s Head on the Parade after a man was assaulted.
The victim, who was on his own, had been invited to drink with a group of people.
The group asked him for money which he withdrew from a cash machine.
A man and woman left once they had the money, and a second man went to follow them.
The victim went to follow him, and he was assaulted by the man who then ran off towards Eastgate Street.
The victim sustained a broken jaw.
The suspect is described as white, approximately 21 to 26 years old and around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, navy shorts, and white trainers.
DC Ashley Frowe said:
“I’d urge anyone who recognises the man or knows of whereabouts to contact us so that we can progress with our investigation.”
