At 12.38pm on Saturday 11 November a car collided with a pedestrian near Junction 40 of the A55.
The collision involved a grey Ford car and a 42-year-old man on the North Wales-bound carriageway.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Aintree hospital.
Sgt Andy Dennison said:
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police, to contact us. "The same goes for anyone who was in the area and has dashcam footage.”
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1688593.
