Detectives from Warrington CID have charged four men in connection to a series of incidents in the town.
Brendon O’Halloran, aged 58, of Newton Road, Winwick; Lee Emson, aged 56, of Hale Street, Orford; Lee Cooper, aged 40, of Station Road, Great Sankey; and Josh O’Halloran, aged 28, of Newton Road, Winwick; were all arrested on Tuesday 1 October.
All four men have since been charged with kidnap, two counts of section 18 assault, aggravated burglary, and possession of an offensive weapon.
Emson has also been charged with possession of cannabis.
The charges all relate to offences which occurred at a skip yard and a residential address in the Dallam area of the town on Monday 30 September.
All four men have been remanded in police custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates on Thursday 3 October.
