Man to appear in court to face sexual assault charges

A 49-year-old man has been charged with a number of sexual assaults following an investigation by Eastern Area Investigation Team.
John Shaw, from Moss Lane, High Leigh was charged with six counts of sexual assault.
Two counts relate to sexual assaults in 2022 involving a teenage girl, and four counts relate to sexual assaults in 2024 involving a woman.
Shaw is due to appear at Crewe Magistrates on 2 February 2026.
