Officers from Cheshire Police have charged a man following reports of an assault in Warrington town centre.
At around 1.20am on Wednesday 2 April, officers arrested a man following reports of an assault on Friars Gate, Warrington.
Following questioning, Wisdom Zulu has since been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence.
The 30-year-old of no fixed abode in the Ellesmere Port area, was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 3 April.
