A county lines drug dealer has been jailed following a successful warrant in Widnes.
Harry Ford appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday 8 July where he was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
The 24-year-old had earlier pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin and cocaine).
On Monday 24 April 2025, officers from Widnes Proactive CID executed a warrant at Fords address on Russell Court, Widnes, after gathering intelligence in relation to a county lines dealer who was operating in the area.
During a search of the property officers discovered a quantity of heroin and cocaine, along with cash and mobile phones which were linked to the supply of illegal drugs.
Ford was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Following his sentence PC Nicholls of the Widnes Proactive CID said:
“Ford believed that he was operating under the radar, but thanks to the work of the team here at Widnes, he was quickly identified as the street dealer for a County Lines gang and removed from the streets of Cheshire.
“I welcome the sentence imposed on Ford by the Court and hope this acts as a stark reminder that our officers are committed to tackling County Lines drug dealing head on.”
