Policing operation to support Creamfields comes to conclusion

The policing operation to support Creamfields music festival has come to a successful conclusion, with 43 arrests made.
Cheshire Constabulary once again worked alongside event organisers to ensure everyone attending the music festival in Daresbury enjoyed it safely.
The festival, which took place between Thursday 21 and Monday 25 August 2025, involved a significant operation both over the bank holiday weekend itself, and during the extensive planning phase for the event.
Officers supported Creamfields event and security staff and provided a visible policing presence to make the event as safe as possible while minimising the impact on local residents.
A total of 186 crimes were reported for a variety of offences over the course of the event, the most common being drug-related. This resulted in 43 arrests. Further individuals will go through the criminal justice process at a later stage or were dealt with via community resolution.
Chief Inspector Jamie Lewis, who oversaw the policing operation, said:
“As Creamfields 2025 comes to an end for another year, we’d like to thank the vast majority of festival-goers for their cooperation throughout the music festival.
“The same goes for local residents. We recognise the disruption the event can cause, and we continue to work alongside the event organisers to minimise the impact to the wider community.
“As with previous years, we targeted those who were intent on supplying illegal substances at the festival - before and during the event. Officers conducted pre-event site searches, the event utilised surrender bins, and there were also extensive search processes carried by security personnel at entrances to the site.
“Project Servator deployments also took place in the run-up to Creamfields, aiming to disrupt a range of criminal activity while providing a reassuring presence for the public.
“The policing operation extended beyond the festival coming to an end, with officers supporting Creamfields with their plans to deter trespassing and keep people safe.
“All of those who were arrested at the festival and are being investigated for drug offences will now have to face the consequences and pay the price for their actions.”
