A 71-year-old man from Rainford is to go on trial for sexual assault.
Ninian Thomson from Randle Avenue, Rainford appeared at Crewe Magistrates on 9 March to face the charge of sexual assault.
The charge relates to an incident involving a pregnant patient at Moody Street GP in 1990 where he was a doctor at the time. The practice no longer exists.
He also worked in Staffordshire and Scotland as a GP.
He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on 27 May 2027.
