A man from Warrington has been charged with assault, theft and harassment offences.
Oliver Booth was arrested on Friday 29 May in the Perth Close area of Warrington.
The 44-year-old has since been charged with three counts of assault of a person causing actual bodily harm, two counts of assault by beating and two counts of intentional strangulation.
Booth, of Perth Close, Warrington, has also been charged with theft from a person, criminal damage, harassment, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place and breaching a non-molestation order.
Booth appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 6 June, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Count on Monday 6 July.
