Appeal for information following serious collision near Congleton.

Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision near Congleton.

At around 7.50pm on Thursday 24 September, police were called to an incident on the A534 Sandbach Road, Brereton.

Officers attended and found there had been a collision involving a black Citroen C4 and a Ducati motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 63-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the car, a 54-year-old man, was uninjured.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
