Officers investigating the thefts of historic post boxes have charged two people.
A man from Chester has been jailed for over 5 years after engaging in online child sex offences.
A rogue trader from Newark, who was jailed for defrauding elderly people by providing poor quality building work, has been sent back to prison for completing 13 more poor quality projects and breaching a Crime Prevention Order whilst doing so.
The family of a man who died following a collision near Chester have paid tribute to him.
Reports of e-bikes and off road bikes in the local area

Following reports of anti social behaviour on illegal E-Bikes from local residents we carried out Operation Unscramble where Cheshire Police use a variety of methods to target these bikes. Aside from being visible in the community and listening to the concerns of Hoole and Newton residents we also seized one illegal bike. We have removed illegally ridden bikes from the streets, ensuring we are making Cheshire an even safer place to live.
