Your Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) is a group of local police officers, police community support officers (PCSOs) and special constables dedicated to serving your community. The team is supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Residents have reported issues with parents parking dangerously outside Bishop Heber High School in Malpas during school drop off and pick up times, contrary to the yellow zig-zags. Residents have also reported speeding outside the school area during the same timeframe.

PCSO McKevitt and PC Garner have completed patrolling at school drop off and pick up time to ensure parents are parking safely, offer advice and
reassurance to parents. They have completed work with the schools for letters to be sent out to parents regarding parking safely. PC Garner has also completed some speed enforcement with the Trucam outside the school to deter and target any speeding drivers.
