Members of our community raised concerns around the number of convenience stores within the town centre and specifically the sale of vapes and other age restricted products to juveniles under the statutory age of purchase.
Action taken:
Using a multi-agency approach we secured a number of closure orders via the courts to close several shops. Anybody found on these premises during this time are liable to prosecution.
